We are the right choice when operational reliability matters

Operational reliability is extremely important to our customers, and measurement accuracy plays a key role. If the alignment between certain machines isn’t exact, it can lead to wear and production disturbances, which can become both time-consuming and expensive.

To ensure high operational reliability, our measurement engineers and machine technicians use the Trimble S9 HP. It’s the best and most precise measuring instrument on the market, providing results down to tenths of a millimeter.

We also carry out inspections and quality checks to make sure everything is functioning as it should.

The right measurement technique for every situation

Different situations require different measurement techniques. We often perform these tasks using a total station,
laser measurement, or a combination of both. Below, you can read more about the different techniques.

Total station

For large projects, we work with something called a total station. This means we measure the entire production line to ensure it operates optimally.

Relocation and installation of a production line

A total station can also be used when we relocate and install entire production lines. By carrying out precise measurements, the production line can be dismantled and then rebuilt exactly the same way again.

This allows production to resume quickly, without needing to spend time reprogramming the machines to match new conditions.

Laser measurements

With laser measurement, we align components such as pumps and motors. For example, we may use laser alignment between a fan and a motor to ensure wear is kept to a minimum.

Cardan alignment

Cardan alignment is a type of laser measurement used for aligning drives, for example rollers where the drive is offset.

We carry out several different types of measurements within, for example, the paper industry and the steel industry.
