- A continuation of a positive collaboration with Carlstad Machinetools
We are in an exciting phase, having just started developing our collaboration with Carlstad Machinetools, the Swedish agent for Nicolás Correa. Over the years, we have worked closely together, and we are very pleased to take this positive partnership a step further.
The Spanish company Nicolás Correa manufactures machining equipment that, on the Swedish market, is sold exclusively by Carlstad Machinetools. When they were looking for a service company for the Correa machines, we were brought on board and are now tasked with building and servicing the approximately 400 machines currently in Sweden.
So far, we have helped assemble a machine at Car-O-Liner in Kungsör. The installation went very smoothly thanks to excellent collaboration with everyone involved. The machine was installed in a newly constructed facility, which made things easier since everything was tailored specifically for that machine.
We have also had two of our employees attend a course at Nicolás Correa in Spain.
“A very educational training and interesting to also see Nicolás Correa’s facility in Burgos, gaining insight into the manufacturing and assembly of their various machines,” says Fredrik Nilsson, who was one of the participants in the course.
The plan going forward is to construct a new facility in Kil where we can renovate machining equipment from across northern Europe. The project is currently in its early stages, and we are actively working on obtaining building permits.
